Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair: Shoreham and Southwick Rotary Club happy to return to fundraising

Five courageous Rotarians handed out flyers around the city center to attract patrons, and Saturday’s Shoreham Center event drew a lot of people. Christine Bohea, one of the organizers, said: “It was really a beautiful day, despite the freezing weather. Proceeds from this event will go to the 1440 Shoreham Air Cadet Squadron.

East Worthing and Shoreham MP Tim Loughton officially opened the fair and stayed a short time to meet with merchants and chat with Rotarians.

Christine added, “The club was very happy to return to fundraising as we support local, national and international charities. So far this year our club has supported Shoreham Foodbank with food donations and provided Christmas packages for needy seniors living alone, and we will be sponsoring the teas during the interval for relaxed and friendly movie screenings. from Ropetackle early next year. “
