An exciting opportunity has become available to join the high performing sponsorship and creative agency Secret Sounds as a Senior Creator

primary objective

As a Creative Lead, you will work within the agency’s internal team and alongside the Director of Creative Solutions to design, develop and deliver creative campaigns for our brand partners that resonate with our always music position. The primary focus of the role will be to drive the creative process in developing integrated campaigns for brand partners across impactful festivals, artists and venue assets.

The role will require you to work throughout the life of each project, from strategy to creative development, production, planning and content delivery. We’re looking for a sharp, creative mind with an adaptable skill set who loves music, people and culture as much as we do.

Responsibilities

  • Imagine and craft ideas into overarching narratives for campaigns across multi-channel executions – video/film content, social, digital and experiential touchpoints.
  • Creative support in developing partnership concepts to launch new business by articulating and illustrating ideas into well-conceived creative responses.
  • Lead projects from concept to completion by working closely with multidisciplinary project teams, especially digital and content – including designers, art directors, directors, producers, cinematographer and photographer
  • You’ll also be comfortable behind the camera, with a skill set that includes videography and editing and the ability to plan, direct and execute from start to finish.
  • Demonstrates ability to manage the production of deliverables on time, within budget, while keeping key project stakeholders informed
  • You will have an established network of creative contributors and in-depth knowledge of the creative collectives, artists, trends and communities that drive culture forward
  • Ensure visual communication and branding standards are adhered to.
  • Write scripts and produce storyboards for multi-channel content campaigns.
  • Support the Director of Creative Solutions in developing engaging content for our own social channels
  • Develop marketing content for the Connect division, through case studies, marketing assets, awards, etc., that help build brand value for the agency
  • Support the development of sales materials, creatively bringing to life strategic positioning and messaging that enables us to engage new customers.
  • Support Secret Sounds broader business and product lines as needed.

background and experience

  • You are above all a passionate music lover.
  • Preferred 5 years of experience as a middle/senior creative in a youth and/or music agency, entertainment company.
  • At the core, you are an experienced creative with demonstrated skills in leading creative projects across multiple touchpoints
  • A true passion for storytelling and quality content with the ability to create strong brand stories and campaign concepts that align with brand strategies
  • The generation of ideas; Ability to turn strategies and ideas into compelling creative ideas that stand out in the marketplace.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute and deliver outstanding commercial creative work. This will be reflected in a strong portfolio and body of work showcasing experience in running innovative campaigns across various channels.
  • writing; Ability to self-edit and turn ideas into copy that cut.
  • Initiative, audacity to defy the norm and a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrated experience in executing innovative campaigns across various channels.
  • Experience with digital, film and audiovisual content is essential.
  • Experience in directing photo and film shoots.
  • Experience in art direction and design components.
  • Must be proficient in the usual suspects – Adobe Creative Suite, keynote. 3D or Sketch experience is a plus.
  • You may also be required to undertake reasonable domestic business travel for the proper performance of your role.
