After a year of quarantine, the much appreciated and FREE La Jolla Art & Wine Festival returns to the quaint streets of La Jolla with even more prestigious art, international wines, craft beers and family fun on Saturday October 9 and Sunday October 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.. With a spectacular coastline, an upscale village atmosphere, and picturesque views, La Jolla is the perfect setting for the beloved and widely recognized La Jolla Art & Wine Festival. There is truly something for everyone to enjoy, including over 150 juror artists from all over the world, 3D chalk art exhibits, interactive murals, non-stop live music, an entertainment center. family art, traveling entertainment, a gourmet food court and wine, beer and spirits garden craft with local breweries, distilleries and global wineries.

The Artist’s Collection curated and selected by a jury showcases the incredible talent of today’s top designers in a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, jewelry design, fine glass, ceramics, woodwork, mixed media and photography. But do not worry ; you don’t have to be an art lover to enjoy this showcase – nor a sommelier to appreciate the variety of award-winning international wines! The iconic wine and beer garden features over 40 wineries, craft breweries and distilleries, offering a variety of regional and international flavors. The La Jolla Art & Wine Festival welcomes not only wine and art lovers, but also anyone looking to inspire their inner artist through practical and imaginative activities! The Family Art Center offers interactive demonstrations, science experiments, and arts and crafts activities for all ages. Paint on a car, discover 3D printing or the latest innovations in robotics: the ingenuity is endless and the fun is abundant in this free activity center!

NEW THIS YEAR. From 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., the Fully Expressed Foundation, a nonprofit that provides workspaces and business planning for emerging artists, will host a fundraising event in the Garden of Wine and beer. They will highlight two musical acts with food and drinks available for participants. Tickets can be purchased in advance and on sale outside the Wine and Beer Garden before the start of the event.

All proceeds raised during the La Jolla Art & Wine Festival go to underfunded programs such as art, music, science, physical education, technology and medical care on site in the five primary schools, secondary and public secondary of La Jolla. For more information, visit or call 619.233.5008.
